NEW TEAM AT Cogan Properties

Cary Stevenson, CFO, Broker and Director of Business Development grew up in Chicago. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and served two active duty tours in the U.S. Air Force. He has been a broker and developer since 1965.

Cary became a general partner of Chicago Colorado Partners, which was formed as a land holding company in the 1970's. Originally responsible for land acquisitions, Cary later assumed additional responsibilities for management, sales and development.

His real estate company, Hogan-Stevenson Real Estate Company, developed and marketed Winter Park Ranch, a 300-acre resort community near Colorado’s Winter Park ski area. Hogan-Stevenson was responsible for development and sales at Hiwan Country Club, a prestigious golf course community near Evergreen, Colorado. Cary subdivided, developed and sold out Valley/66, a 35-acre business park north of Denver.

Tony D. Hinson, P.E., CEO has over 30 years of experience in residential, commercial and investment real estate and property management.

Tony has extensive leadership, program development, and management experience in land development, facilities engineering, and physical plant organizations. This experience includes leading major national and international programs for land and facilities planning, design and construction, operation and management. These programs provided electrical services, mechanical maintenance and operations, building management, maintenance and repair of facilities, grounds and landscape management, warehouse management, and housing management. He has experience and demonstrated skills in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, team building, personnel management, communications, public and intergovernmental relations, and customer services.

During a long career with the U S. Navy’s Naval Facilities Engineering Command, he rose from an Engineering Intern in a field division to the position of Deputy Chief Engineer at the Command Headquarters in Washington, D.C

A resident of San Diego, he earned a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, is a graduate of the U. S. Naval War College, earned a Master’s degree in Business Management from Salve Regina University, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from The American University. He is a Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering.

Pamela Twitty, Accountant/Bookkeeper, has 28 years of experience in accounting and finance for residential, commercial and investment real estate and property management.

Pam’s skill set which includes but is not limited to reporting requirements, audits and financial review of lease records were acquired with positions at Trammell Crow as an Accountant, at John Burnham and Company as Accounts Receivable Manager and Lease Accounting Administrator, and at Pacific Medical Buildings as the Lease Accounting Administrator This experience has made her expertise in the field of Real Estate a valuable asset.

Pam grew up in Bakersfield and earned an Associates degree with Bakersfield Junior College. She moved to San Diego in 1979 where she began her career in the Real Estate Industry.

Billijin Yako is the Residential Leasing Coordinator for Cogan Properties. She is a native of San Diego and graduate from El Cajon Valley High School. Billijin has attended community college as well as Anthony’s School for Real Estate.

Billijin is responsible for renting/leasing and tenant renewal for properties managed by the company. New properties are profiled and digital photography used to record physical condition and attractive marketing qualities. Effective advertising is used to maximize potential applicants. Properties are shown in a friendly manner and applications accepted. Applicants are interviewed and background checks completed. Leases are prepared and thoroughly reviewed with approved applicants. Billijin welcomes follow-up questions by owners and tenants.
